Overview
A paranoid man embarks on an epic odyssey to get home to his mother in this bold and ingeniously depraved new film from writer/director Ari Aster.A decades-spanning surrealist horror film set in an alternate present, Academy Award winner Joaquin Phoenix plays Beau, an anxiety-ridden man who embarks on a surreal odyssey home after his mother’s sudden death. Along the way, he confronts his greatest fears and must navigate through a series of bizarre and terrifying events. As Beau struggles to come to terms with his mother’s passing, he must also confront the demons of his past and the dark secrets that have haunted him for years.
