The story is set in ancient China and follows the journey of two powerful warriors, Li Mu Bai and Shu Lien, as they attempt to retrieve a stolen sword and confront their feelings for each other. Along the way, they must also face off against a powerful and dangerous warrior known as the Green Destiny. Yeoh delivers a powerful performance as Shu Lien, showcasing her martial arts skills and emotional range as she battles both external enemies and her own inner demons.
