Overview
Our new virtual cinema will allow us to continue sharing curated, cinematic gems with you by bringing the art house directly into your home while also helping support O Cinema.Diana Kennedy fell in love with Mexican food over 60 years ago, and has made it her mission to document and celebrate the regional varieties of Mexico’s cuisine ever since, becoming the world’s leading authority. Now in her 90s, the celebrated British-born chef and cookbook author is still as feisty and no-nonsense as ever, leading teaching workshops, advocating for environmental sustainability, and planning to turn her home into a foundation for culinary education in Mexico. Featuring extensive interviews with Diana Kennedy and famed chefs José Andrés, Rick Bayless, Gabriela Camara and Alice Waters, Diana Kennedy provides an intimate look at the leading expert on Mexican cuisine. The author of nine acclaimed cookbooks and a two-time James Beard Award winner, Diana is called the “Julia Child of Mexico”, but the feisty cook prefers “The Mick Jagger of Mexican Cuisine”.

Thanks to Greenwich Entertainment & others, we now have the ability to offer our audience the chance to watch films which have not yet been made available on any other streaming platform! O Cinema has always been your mission-driven, community-based nonprofit art house theater and we remain dedicated to educating, entertaining and inspiring. • General Admission – $10.00The first time you stream a movie on this platform you’ll need to create an account. This requires only your name, email address, and a password. To stream movies in the future, you can simply log in.Once your account has been created you’ll be given an opportunity to make a donation to the theatre. This is purely optional but, if you do decide to donate, thank you. You’ll then be taken to a payment screen, where you can enter your credit card information.Once your payment has been processed you should receive a confirmation email, and the film will become available to you for 48 hours. You should be able to stream the film on your computer, tablet, or mobile device, and, if you have a television that is able to mirror your computer or phone, possibly on your television as well.
