Rising Tide: A Story of Miami Artists

Join us tonight for a free screening of the PBS documentary Rising Tide: a Story of Miami Artists produced and directed by Andrew Hevia.Filmed during Art Basel Miami Beach in 2011, the story follows several local artists as they navigate the events surrounding the largest contemporary art fair in the world. Using each artist as a jumping off point, the film explores the development of Miami's rapidly growing art scene. Featuring Brook Dorsch, Jen Stark, Venessa Monokian, TM Sisters, Brookhart Jonquil and Funner Projects. Also playing is an extended version of the Emmy winning short film 'Maintain Right' starring Justin Long and Rob 'Meatball' Lorie.Filmmaker Andrew Hevia will be present and participate in a post-film Q&A
