This Is Infamous is partnering up with O Cinema in order to bring you a double feature of epic proportions - two horror classics never before seen together on a South Florida screen (or probably anywhere for that matter). First up is PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE, director Ed Wood's sci-fi B-movie popularized by Tim Burton's biopic about the filmmaker that is often a part of the discussion as to the worst films ever made. Over the years, PLAN 9 has developed a cult following, embraced for its extremely low-budget approach. It also holds the stature of being Bela Lugosi's last movie. It isn't often that PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE can be seen with such a large group of others ready to marvel at Wood's vision, so you don't want to miss out on such an opportunity. Following that up, it's the original NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, George Romero's revolutionary zombie film that represented "a new dawn in horror film-making." Often imitated but never duplicated, this 1968 movie is often the benchmark by which other zombie flicks are measured, and its cultural impact was deemed so great that it was added to the National Film Registry in 1999. A staple on any list of horror list, NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD is a must-see for horror fans of any generation… and this is the rare opportunity to see it projected up on the big screen.Billy Donnelly ("The Infamous Billy The Kidd") will be on-hand to host the evening's festivities with a portion of the proceeds raised going to aid the crowd funding of the new all-encompassing geek community This Is Infamous that will be calling South Florida its home base.
