Settembre(Directed by Giulia Louise Steigerwalt | 2022 | 1h 48m)Friday, April 21st @ 7:30pmMaria (Margherita Rebeggiani) is a reserved teen. The boy she likes has just asked her to go to bed with him. She accepts but isn’t sure where to start, so her school friend Sergio (Luca Nozzoli) offers to give her a few sex lessons, leading to a special friendship. Sergio’s mother Francesca (Barbara Ronchi) learns she has a health issue but doesn’t feel the need to tell her husband Alberto (Andrea Sartoretti) about it, given that she’s been more or less invisible in his eyes for some time now. Francesca finds comfort in the arms of her best friend Debora (Thony), but their relationship soon blossoms into something new and unexpected. Francesca’s doctor Guglielmo (Fabrizio Bentivoglio) is suffering some sort of post-divorce apathy and the only person he likes spending time with, at night, is young sex worker Ana (Croatia’s Tesa Litvan) who, for her part, is falling in love with her sweet-natured baker contemporary Matteo (Enrico Borello); this young woman’s capacity for dreaming, in spite of everything, rouses Guglielmo from his torpor and inspires him to change tack.[embedyt] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q9TAjB-vd10[/embedyt]

Ten years have passed between funny moments and routines in which Matteo put aside his professional dream dedicating himself mainly to the role of father. His decision will bring some turmoil in the family balance.[embedyt] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=45QydARbjso[/embedyt]

Prima di Andare Via(Directed by Massimo Cappelli | 2022 | 1h 38m)Sunday, April 23rd @ 7:30pmAndrea is a normal boy, bordering on the banal: he has an exaggerated best friend to keep at bay, a difficult exam to pass and an ex-girlfriend with whom he pushes back and forth. But he likes his life as it is and when he discovers he has an incurable disease the world collapses on him. Then he meets Giulia who, apparently, is in the same situation as him. Thanks to her, Andrea will understand that the time has come to take over what’s left of his life.[embedyt] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TwkGY42Bn0s[/embedyt]

Ariaferma(Directed by Giulia Louise Steigerwalt | 2021 | 1h 57m)Sunday, April 23rd @ 9:15pmAn old prison built in the 19th century, located in a remote and unspecified part of the Italian territory, is being decommissioned. As a result of bureaucratic holdups, the transfers have been blocked and a dozen inmates are left, along with a few guards, waiting to be sent to new destinations. In a suspended atmosphere, the rules that keep them separate are slackened and new forms of relationship emerge among the remaining men.[embedyt] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4yXtEwCcbWc[/embedyt]

Lasciarsi un Giorno a Roma(Directed by Edoardo Leo | 2021 | 1h 56m)Monday, April 24th @ 7:30pmThe film tells two love stories, similar but very different, against the background of a splendid and protagonist city. The capital becomes the romantic theater of the couple’s life: shaky, in love, exhausted but still evolving over time. The protagonists, in different ways, reflect on their lives to understand themselves and each other. Zoe and Tommaso, Elena and Umberto live their life as a couple in parallel, arriving at the moment of wondering if they are willing to move forward, evolve and try again or if the fear of breaking up is greater than that of remaining together. A manager and a writer, a mayor and a school principal collide on the screen and tell the beauty and difficulty of love in a cynical but also very profound way.[embedyt] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aCbLm3swllM[/embedyt]
